Based in Los Angeles, Elizabeth Archer is a left-of-center director and writer known for creating stories set in vibrant, stylized worlds—with a sharp comedic edge. Her cheeky sensibility, bold visual aesthetic, and playful tone breathe life into both her narrative and commercial work. She explores the absurdities of modern life through a dynamic emotional range, blending subtle, nuanced performances with laugh-out-loud physical comedy.

During her time in LA, Elizabeth has worked with companies like Hello Sunshine, Netflix, and most recently served as a treatment designer at PRETTYBIRD. She has directed dozens of comedic shorts, sketches, and commercials—most notably for Almost Friday TV and Keke Palmer’s KeyTV. Her latest short film, Two Women Make a Lunch Plan, has screened at over ten festivals, including Palm Springs ShortFest, LA Shorts, Silver Lake Shorts, and Salute Your Shorts.
