■ OPERATIONAL FRAMEWORKS & LOGIC
Structuring the Cinematic Narrative
Initial Delivery: Our writers typically deliver an initial draft of treatment text after one full workday, depending on project scope, creative materials, and the amount of source material provided.
The First Day Objective: A standard writing day is intended to get the treatment into strong draft form: structure, tone, key sections, director’s approach, and overall narrative flow.
Granular Revisions: Text revisions beyond the first writing day are billed in quarter-day increments. This allows teams to make focused updates without needing to book unnecessary additional time, while still accounting for the real time involved in thoughtful revision work.
Visual Runway & Image Sourcing
The 2-Day Golden Foundation: For most treatment projects, we recommend planning for: 1 full day of visual research + 1 full day for initial layout This gives the designer enough time to source and shape a strong visual direction before building the deck itself.
The Tag-Team Approach: For compressed timelines, we may recommend a simultaneous split, with one creative focused entirely on visual research and another on layout. This moves the project faster without forcing the work into an unrealistic, single-day image-and-layout schedule.
■ WORKDAY & TEMPORAL BOUNDS
Our standard booking day operates under strict regional rules:
In the creative's local time zone.
Half days are strictly structured as concise 5-hour blocks. Additional time, late nights, or overtime must be approved in advance.
■ REVISIONS & TRANSFERS
Working files are shared at the end of each workday whenever possible, allowing production teams to continue making internal updates, swaps, or last-minute agency revisions after the booking wraps.
Additional revisions after the initial booking are billed based on time required and creative availability.
■ REVIEW PHASE & SCOPE
To confirm availability and structure the layout flow, we review creative materials before locking a job. Helpful diagnostic materials:
- Boards, scripts, agency creative briefings
- Call recordings, director prior treatments
- Brand visual references
